Conferences

An ANZSHM conference is held on a biennial basis. The conference usually spans 3-5 days at venues around Australia and New Zealand. The program includes keynote addresses, a varied program of research papers and other intellectual and social activities. The ANZSHM also participates in other historical conferences from time to time.​

2025 Conference:

The 19th Biennial Conference of the ANZSHM will be held in Sydney, Australia, from 8 to 12 July. To participate in the conference, as an attendee or presenter, please visit the 2025 conference website.

Financial assistance in the form of Ben Haneman Memorial Conference Grants for Postgraduate Students and Early Career Researchers is available on a competitive basis for students and ECRs to attend the conference. Click here for more information.
